Dolores DeLuce and I met many years ago in Venice, CA. She lives on the same exquisite walk street near the beach that my parents lived on. Dolores felt that my father was like a mentor/ fairy godfather to her and although now we’re mostly on opposites ends of the country, we’ve maintained our sisterhood through our written words and the sheer love of soulful spirit that binds us all.

When Matt Tannenbaum, the owner of the Bookstore in Lenox, learned we were connected, he suggested that we might like to share the stage at the ‘Get Lit Bar’ to discuss our newest work and sign our books. I’ll be discussing What Would You Do If There Was Nothing You Had To Do? And Dolores will add the perfect complement, The Lazy Gal’s Guide to Enlightenment.

Come join us! We’ll have refreshments and, as always, you can get lit at the wine bar!

About Dolores DeLuce (aka the Counter Culture Diva) now reincarnated as the Dalai Diva: Dolores is a celebrated performer and writer with a delightfully-checkered past. She’s wowed audiences with her underground hits White Trash Boom Boom, Broken Dishes and The Last Dance of the Couch Potatoes. She’s also graced national TV commercials, True Blood and Netflix’s new comedy series Disjointed. Her trilogy of witty and wise memoirs are My Life, A Four Letter Word: Confessions of a Counter Culture Diva; Blow Jobs, A Guide to Making it in Show Business, or Not!, and her newest release, A Lazy Gal’s Guide to Success & Enlightenment by Her Holiness The Dalai Diva of the Counter Culture.
