…yes, HEAVEN FALLS places first – in Romance!

Reader Views Literary Awards

Here’s an excerpt from the review: “Wonderfully imaginative and filled with a series of rather unexpected twists, “Heaven Falls” was a truly engaging book. While at first I found Tess maddeningly vacillating, I later decided that this trait actually made her more believable, at least in my opinion. Very few of us live in a precisely defined black/white world, and it is the shades of gray that often make us wishy-washy. I’ve enjoyed the author’s style, the plot and the highly complex characters. The romance between Tess and Jason was believable, the twists and turns exciting and suspenseful, and I found the descriptions of different essential oils at the beginning of each chapter to be some of my favorite parts of the book.”

5.0 out of 5 starsUp Until Midnight
By Sharon F. Svitak

“This book is more that a romance. Heaven Falls is filled with complicated characters, plot twists, and unexpected revelations. After I began reading the book and I stayed up past midnight because I couldn’t sleep until I had finished it. I have found a new author to follow.”

What Makes You Click “BUY THIS BOOK”?

August 26th, 2010 · 1 Comment

I have just received a letter from my publisher saying that sales of Heaven Falls have topped 1,000. They’re at 1300, to be precise.

Along with dozens of other independently and traditionally published authors, much of my focus once a novel is published is wondering who will buy my book and why?

New Book Available: Heaven Falls

February 27th, 2010 · 2 Comments

The tallest falls east of Niagara, hidden in the wilderness of soaring mountains, impossible to get to except by foot, Heaven Falls plunges down a massive rock face, strikes a thick stone ledge and sprays out in powerful rainbow arcs into the seemingly bottomless lake far below.

The health resort named after it is the most elite in the world. Billionaires, politicians, and celebrities flock to recuperate and pamper themselves at the beautiful facilities.

But they also flock for another reason.

“You CAN buy love,” states the glossy Heaven Falls brochure. “Don’t let anyone say that you can’t.”

Heaven Falls offers something no other resort does: the thrill of a romantic interlude. Romance with a complete stranger – romance that feeds the hungry heart and nurtures the soul. The ecstasy of falling in love comes with no strings attached, no headache, no misunderstandings… Just a hefty price tag.

Sounds pretty good?

Single mother, unemployed Tess thinks so. Especially when the owners of the resort invite her and her ten-year-old daughter to move there. Not only that, but, once there, she is guaranteed a job, a home, and a lifetime of financial security.

And before long, she herself is falling in love.

But the heaven Tess thought she had found begins to crumble around her. And she has no one to turn to for help except for the man who betrayed her.

Heaven Falls is now available in SOFTCOVER! Purchase it on Amazon. It’s also still available  in e-book format for a limited time for only $0.99 !! Purchase it on Smashwords for several e-book options. The hardcover edition will be available in April 2010.
