Writers and entrepreneurs Tom Lowery and Cheryl Conner have collaborated on an article in FORBES magazine about why writers continue to write when it seems as though there might be an easier path to take.
Writing is 5% talent and 95% hard work – very hard work. As Tom discovered when he interviewed a number of writers for Huffington Post, “most writers – even those who write full time for a living – face a plethora of demons that cause them considerable grief.”
This article is so worth reading – and not just because I am one of the authors who was interviewed for the article. Cheryl has a regular column in Forbes Magazine in which she writes about “communications, business, and the ways the two intersect.” Her insights into these two realms, the many more that they affect, are always insightful, penetrating, and enjoyable.
