Five years ago, thirty-year-old executive Angela Leigh Tucker’s car was struck by a truck that killed her husband and left her barely hanging on to life. Her brain was severely damaged, and the diagnosis was that she was doomed. She could have quit but never did. Her recovery team included family, friends, doctors, and therapists. Today, Angela lives independently in New York City. The injury transformed her life in many surprising and positive ways. She is an advocate for millions of people who have survived and now live with their own brain injury. Her experience informs and inspires us all.
Bill Ramsey is the author of Me Now – Who Next? – the story that documents the inspiring story of Angela’s recovery.
And on Thursday, February 13, 2014 WriteSpa – An Oasis for Writers is proud to talk on BlogTalkRadio to both Bill and Angela about the experience, the story, and the book that emerged.
More about author Bill Ramsey:
For most of his life, Bill wrote sports columns, technical manuals, magazine articles, and business newsletters. In retirement, writing about real life issues remains his passion.
His other books include:
Now That I Think About It – Reflections of Billy the Elder: Original essays that describe real life themes such as writing, reading, news-making, government, religion, family dynamics, friendship, fame, hating, loving, true beauty, self-defeat, self-preservation, and the end of life. The mix is intense, humorous, introspective, motivating, and ironic.
Billy the Kid – the life of a child in the 1950s was safe, simple, and happy. The book honors the memory of family members, friends, neighbors, teachers, and community leaders.
