It’s easy to get caught up in the worries, anxieties, and tensions of everyday life around us. Too often we become enmeshed the buzzing intricacies of have-tos and shoulds. But when we return to our center of stillness, the place where we exist simply as the center of our universe, we remember that all we need to do is be a light shining into the world. Follow the example of our beautiful sun. Don’t get pulled into other peoples’ orbits—you’ll have a much greater impact if you shine your light on the situation and on others, rather than getting sucked into their gravitational field. Feel more cosmic. That way, too, you allow yourself to become who you truly are rather than who you think you should be. The central star of your galaxy, your very own, personal sun, is yourself.
