Fear of the unknown—worry about what will happen—concern about the future—anxious about making the ‘right’ decision … these are some of our relentless, flickering, daily shadows. But these are simply shadows of those innate human qualities of trust, clairvoyance, creating our future, and trusting our intuition. When we cross into the unknown with confidence that what will be, will be, there’s no room for fear or uncertainty. Worries and concerns dissolve when we realize that what will happen, will happen. People sometimes think if we don’t get worried we won’t act, but the reverse is true. Concern and worry are paralyzing. Determination and assurance are galvanizing. The only way we can truly make a change in our own lives or a difference in other peoples’ lives is by accepting that this moment and this thing are all there is. Only then can we freely choose to drive into the fog and mist into something new. Only then can we change things, even if it’s hard to see how. That’s when heading into the unknown, which is really every single day of our lives, becomes an adventure, one in which we truly know we have everything we need to face whatever it may be.
