Time is not so much a road or a ruler that goes from hither to thither. The past doesn’t get snipped off behind you as you head into unknown, foggy future. Time exists as part of creation. Through the experience of time we create our lives. Regard it as a tapestry of woven strands. Seen close up there are many threads, blips, lumps, holes, tears, and luminous colors. From a distance, we can see the whole beautiful picture. It’s good to go in and out, to enjoy and value the parts and the whole. Throughout our lives we’re creating more and more of this tapestry. There is no past, there is no future—there’s just a growing process of experiencing and creating our life’s story-picture.
