the light coming back.
holding it together.
stepping out from the shadow.
slowing down.
going in a new direction.
watching the tide turn
a way out of the forest.
hinging light to dark
holding it fast – then letting go.
the wind singing;
being okay with the dark;
an exaltation of larks.
looking ahead;
kissing her palm;
closing the door and opening a window.
a different perspective;
bubbling over;
going into the mirror and out the other side.
going inward;
watching the underbelly of a passing cloud.
the tea steeped.
trees kissing;
three ships sailing in;
the kindness of strangers.
shifting perspective;
the tenderness of evening;
all the rocks smiling at you.
despair lifting;
the Spice Islands;
finding your way to the sea.
coming to life;
tears of joy;
a dragon coming to visit.
quieting;
a twinkle in his eye;
planting your little nutmeg tree.
