pieces of marzipan delighting you.
pieces of marzipan delighting you.
emerging through the tiniest portal into a larger one to become who you always were.
wanting so much to be whittled
unsealing the fountain at last
light coming from within the mountains
the great story of the tree that longed to be a man.
realizing the shrine you seek keeps moving
going to the edge and looking around.
knowing what is inside them
just before being revealed
having a great idea
turning to hear a different voice
pondering the pleasures of being a city or a country mouse
a bird wondering about other ways to create music.
starting over again from the beginning
deep in conversation with the full moon
slowing down, pausing for a while, then stopping at last
taking all the time in the world
the wind at your back
a wave breathing in … love; a wave breathing out … peace
thinking that it might be time to shed that old skin and see what’s underneath
noticing shapes, lines, and the significance of a triangle.
