making a wish;
the grasshopper learning to play;
fnding the lost key.
making a wish;
the grasshopper learning to play;
fnding the lost key.
opening the parasol;
the rustle of long skirts;
stopping at Phoenician trading centers.
mirrored in a tree;
turning over the cards, one at a time;
blowing out the candles.

experiencing the light;
shedding an old skin;
standing firm.
changing direction;
a long lunch on a hot day by the sea;
choosing to walk instead.
breaking the rules;
the turn of the ankle;
climbing through the stars.
a momentous gathering;
still dancing at dawn;
coming down the mountain after a long time.
coffee on the hotel terrace;
the doorway framed with lilacs;
baby’s breath.
coming in for landing;
a donkey braying outside your window;
gold coins falling down the chimney.
the rain lifting:
sleeping on a rug of dandelions;
finding a tiny paper boat to sail down the river.
sipping slowly;
extraordinary generosity;
tapping the tree-trunk with your beak.
three of you;
loping with gazelles;
gently spreading your fingers to the sun.

planning your day;
a nightingale singing its heart out;
a flight of fancy.
March 27
choosing your new spring hat;
at the top of the Matterhorn;
a sedge of cranes.
a cheerful hello to an old friend;
sliding on the soft ground on your belly;
cartwheeling from star to star.
the forest in moonlight;
perched on the tip of a pussy willow branch;
lunching with a film star.
descending from the top of the mast;
fiddlehead ferns;
over the white cliffs of Dover.
finding the bridge;
passion smoldering in her eyes;
a powerful ally
the dome of the mosque;
stirring vats of dark chocolate;
a wild romp.
knocking on the door;
that feeling of belonging;
coasting with seagulls.
a light within;
poking your head out from your aerie;
being fiercely calm.
