Most of our insecurities, worries, and fears come from an ancient part of our brain that has to do with survival. Over the course of thousands of years, we’ve learned to survive in a variety of ways, including aggression and fleeing from supposed danger. Now it’s time to look beyond survival. How can we truly thrive and prosper? Through stillness. Leave behind worries that there is not enough, or anxiety about what will happen, or fear that we don’t have with us something we think is essential. In stillness we realize we have everything we need at every step of the way in our lives. We are not here only to eat, mate, and die. We are also here to adventure, be kind, laugh heartily, and enjoy the view.
