Stillness 5-7

dive straight through to safety and stillness.

 

When there is only a moment to decide, dive straight through. This is no time for hesitation or uncertainty. Don’t think you can plan ahead or even imagine what might lie beyond a big, crashing wave. Speak your truth now. Raise your sword now. It’s the unspoken words that can drown you. It’s the turning away from the wave that can crush you. Take a deep breath. Even in times of seeming panic or despair, stillness is your ally. When you practice working with stillness on a daily basis, stillness can flood you in an instant, just as light floods a dark room. The time for speech or action is now. Breathe in, and as you breathe out let go of all tension, and instantly allow quiet, calm surety to pour through you. Now dive headlong into safety. You’ll emerge into smooth, calm, still waters.
