it’s just a simple ‘thank you.’
We’ve been offered many ways to pray, to meditate, and, in general, to behave. There are a lot of shoulds involved, and sometimes pressure. In stillness all that disappears and there’s just a great expansive awareness of the All. We are part of it and it is part of us and there is no separation. In that spacious quiet there is nothing that emerges except the awareness that we are aware of the All. There is nothing that is required or expected of us, no guilt, and no sense of urgency. Breathe in the stillness. As you exhale and return to your sense of being separate and individual, smile with gratitude. In stillness we remember whence we really came and who we truly are.
