Stillness 7-22

there’s always a way to get inside.

An abode needs to be lived in. That is its purpose. In the same way, your life needs to be lived in. You need to embody it and decorate and renovate and live in it. It’s a good time to explore where you live inside yourself. Climb a ladder, go through the front door, or the back door, or climb a tree and haul yourself along a branch to a window, or even clamber up on the roof and slide down the chimney! When we’re confused about our life’s purpose, we can discover more about it by entering into ourselves through various portals. Exploring ourselves through different points of views and ways of being helps us to realize that there is tremendous richness in the abode that is each one of us. There are so many marvelous rooms, corridors, opportunities, buried treasure, fun-filled attics, beauty, usefulness, and spaciousness within us. It’s by exploring these many inward chambers that we discover perhaps not just one life’s purpose, but many.
