How to see clearly

5-3: Have you ever had the experience of gazing at a simple, two-dimensional image on a sheet of paper, then gradually unfocusing your eyes, and suddenly a three-dimensional image pops out with such vivid clarity that it takes your breath away? It’s a super-fun thing to do, or to amaze your friends with. When you gaze at the 3-D image, you can hardly remember the 2-D one, but with a single blink, your eyes are focused again and it’s a simple 2-D sheet of paper again.

Exploring the realm of our spirit is like that. When we’re in a fifth dimension of spirit, our insight is clear as day. We “see” angels, people who have died, elemental beings, and other beings who exist at a higher frequency or vibration as clearly as though they are physically real. But with a single small blink, the link is broken and our three-dimensional, here-and-now earthly vision predominates.

Traveling into our spirit realm is not an optical illusion, however. It occurs by our moving into a different frequency. We raise our vibration so that we can experience our higher self, our spirit self. We can raise our frequency by tapping into our essential “spiritual” aspects of ourselves, like joy, gratitude, harmony, and peace. By tuning into our inner light, we shine that light more. We sometimes forget what beings of light we are, because we tend to get so drawn into in our space-and-time, here-and-now, human, physical experience.

Do you want to see more clearly? Practice seeing with your heart. Try raising your vibration through regularly meditating and remembering something you love dearly or are grateful for or that brings you joy. Focus on it, and right away you begin to feel lighter. Spirit beings are drawn by your light and feel more hopeful about connecting with you. Keep practicing—trusting what comes. It’s a heart-awareness of Presence, rather than a reaching out and touching with your fingers. With practice, you can feel the Presence of spirit all the time.

Yes, with a single blink, any spiritual beings who are surrounding you may seem to disappear, but they are still there, just like the 3D image is on the piece of paper. It’s simply a matter of tuning into them with your heart rather than with your eyes.
