what is your interior age?
Ask yourself—how old would you be if you didn’t know when you were born? We all have our own distinct internal age, and sometimes it helps to remind ourselves of what that age is. Where do you ‘land’ when you think of how old you are? Is it 12 or 18 or 30 or 50 or 70 or even older? Some people are always slightly elderly, even when they are children. Some people remain children throughout their lives. This is another way into the old adage of ‘know thyself!’ If you yearn for your 20-year-old self, practice bringing the qualities of that time into your current age. What is it about being 20 that resonates with you? Don’t get nostalgic or think it has to do with an event, person, or situation you were in. Get into the vibration of how you felt. Independent? Playful? Dreamy? Successful? In love? Wise? Sometimes when you’re feeling frustrated or out of sync with yourself it helps to vibrate into your internal age and allow a clarity and calm to ripple outward, smoothing all the years past and years to come from your center out into your periphery of experience.
