Stillness 5-11

your duty is to be who and where you are.

A rock does not try to be a cow, nor does a bluebell yearn to be signpost (as far as we know). A raindrop is a raindrop. A baby is a baby. Who are you, in the deepest chambers of your heart? Who is the individual, the creative life that wants to express and act and become in this world? Try to be just who you are and where you are, without putting any other expectations on yourself or on anyone else. In the stillness of your heart, let your troubles dissolve and your inadequacies and powerlessness disappear. Instead allow your heart to feel its intense yearning to become more of its own unique essence.
